Women's Football: Sheffield United set for Continental Cup tie as Barnsley progress in FA Cup

Sheffield United remain very much in the thick of the FA Women’s Championship title race despite dropping two points last time out.

They drew 2-2 at home to bottom side Charlton Athletic last weekend but this Sunday sees their attention turn to the Continental League Cup when they host Blackburn Rovers at OLP (2pm).

Chesterfield were 7-0 winners in their tie at Corby who had a player dismissed just before the half hour, but the game was effectively already over as Chesterfield had raced into a four-goal inside 15 minutes.

Gina Camfield (3), Paige Singleton (2), Gemma Nuttall and Ami Buzzeo were the players on target.

Millmoor hammered Dronfield Town Development 10-1 in the Krukowski Cup, with debutant Ruby Markham scoring four.
