The 27 year old saw off Will Zalatoris and Scottie Scheffler by one shot to take the title, finishing on -6 for the week.
Fitzpatrick won the US Amateur crown on the same course back in 2013 and becomes only the second mens golfer to achieve such a feat, the other being the great Jack Nicklaus.
