It’s time for battle once more.

The powerful words – set to dramatic footage of invading Vikings and swords being drawn – is a new World Snooker Tour promotional video you can watch above and it has sent snooker fans into a frenzy for tickets.

They are selling out for the forthcoming Cazoo UK Championship at York Barbican.

The final weekend and two other sessions are already sold out as fans snap them up to see some of the world’s top players in action, starting this weekend, November 12 to 20.

Chinese superstar Zhao Xintong, at 25-years-old considered to be one of the brightest talents in the game, will defend his title against all-time greats including Ronnie O’Sullivan, who is celebrating his fourth Cazoo Champion of Champions title afer a 10-6 victory over Judd Trump at the weekend in Bolton.

Trump, Neil Robertson, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy, Kyren Wilson, Mark Williams, Mark Allen and many more now have their sights set on the battle in York.

The Cazoo UK Championship is one of snooker’s Triple Crown events with a history dating back to 1977.

Prize money has been increased this year to £1,205,000, with a first prize of £250,000.

There will only be two tables in the arena throughout.

The sold out sessions are Saturday, November 12, 1pm; Friday, November 18, 1pm; Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20, 1pm and 7pm sessions.

But it will all be televised by BBC, Eurosport, CCTV5, Matchroom.Live and a range of other broadcasters worldwide.

Fans can still get tickets, which cost only £10 per day, for the Cazoo UK Championship qualifying rounds now taking place at Sheffield’s Ponds Forge until Thursday, November 10, For those tickets and draw details – CLICK HERE.

The 16 players who make it through the qualifying rounds will be drawn at random to play the top 16 in the televised phase in York.

Star names amongst the 128 players competing in Sheffield include former UK Champions Ding Junhui, Stephen Maguire and Jimmy White, as well as former World Champions Graeme Dott, Ken Doherty and Stephen Hendry.

Session times are 9.30am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm, until the last two days, November 9 and 10, when sessions will be 1pm and 7pm. All matches are best of 11 frames.
