But what happened to United’s players from that day?
5. Bob Harris
Signed from Blackpool in 2014, Harris spent two years at Bramall Lane and was another part of the side that reached the FA Cup semi-finals under Nigel Clough. An attacking full back, Harris left in 2016 and later played for Bristol Rovers and FC United of Manchester
6. Ryan Flynn
The former Liverpool trainee joined United from Falkirk in his native Scotland and was a key member of the side that reached the FA Cup semi-final in 2014. After leaving United he went to Oldham before returning north of the border and joining St. Mirren

7. Michael Doyle
The Irishman played over 200 games for the Blades in the middle of midfield, captaining them to the semi-finals of both the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Bramall Lane. Now 38, he is currently at Notts County

8. Conor Coady
Coady made 50 appearances for United after being signed on loan by Wilder’s predecessor David Weir at the beginning of the 2013/14 League One campaign. He was later sold by Liverpool, joining Huddersfield Town before moving to Wolves. Now their captain and will come up against his former club this weekend at Molieneux
