Nick dives Down Under for camp

Have your say

City of Sheffield diver Nick Robinson-Baker heads to the sunny surroundings of Australia today for for a mammoth pre-Olympics training camp.

The 24-year old is travelling there along with other GB divers who have also secured their spots for the Games in London.

It is the first time the British diving squad have organised such a trip.

The camp lasts until Christmas Eve and whilst he is Down Under, Robinson-Baker will aim to fine-tune his preparations, and most notably work on a new move with partner Chris Mears.

The duo will aim to perfect the front four-and-a half somersault, which is regarded as one of the more dangerous dives in the sport.
