WIMBLEDON champion Jonathan Marray and Paul Hanley moved into the semi-finals of the men’s doubles at the Paris Masters after beating home favourites Josselin Ouanna and Nicolas Renavand in straight sets.

Sheffield-based Marray and Hanley of Australia, who defeated top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan in the last eight, saw off the unheralded French duo 7-6 (8/6) 7-6 (7/5) yesterday. They now face Indian pairing Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna.

Marray lifted the men’s doubles title at SW19 this year with Denmark’s Frederik Nielsen.
