Legue to join hot-shot list

JEFF LEGUE could prove himself to be one of the hardest shooters in Sheffield Steelers' history.

That is the view of club spokesman Dave Simms, who says the super-quick Canadian has the potential to "come in at number one or two" in the all- time hottest-shooters.

Simms' present top ten are: 1: Paul Beraldo, 2: Ron Shudra, 3: Chris Brant, 4: John Wynne, 5: Steve Nemeth 6: Mark Dutiaume, 7: Jamie Leach 8: Rhett Gordon, 9: Kevin Bolibruck 10: Phil Lee.

Scimitars

coach Neil Abel has secured the services of their fourth overseas player.

Swedish-born, Patrik Moberg 25, joins the club after competing in the Swedish Division One, for EV Welden, where he averaged a point a game.

Abel said: "He has played at a high standard. I hope he will compliment Peter Slamiar's skills and they will link up well.

"He is a consistent scorer and gets points on the board."

Scimitars start with two games this weekend away to Telford on Saturday and at home to Swindon on Sunday (5.30pm.)
