Kai Morgan is newest player to re-sign for the Eagles
The half-back has become the 18th player confirmed in Sheffield’s squad for next season after a year in which he made 27 appearances.
Kai Morgan is the newest player to pen a new deal with the Eagles, keeping him at the club for the 2027 season.

Morgan joined the club at the start of the 2026 campaign, coming to the club from Salford Red Devils following their liquidation.
Since joining the Eagles, he has made 27 appearances, with 7 tries and 46 goals throughout his successful year with the club. His first try in the red and golden kit came in Sheffield’s third-round defeat against Warrington Wolves in the Challenge Cup.
He has formed two consistent half-back partnerships throughout this year, providing a dynamic duo with both Jordan Lilley until his injury and then Jordan Abdull after his mid-season signing.
He now becomes the 18th player confirmed to be in the Eagles’ squad for 2027, and is now available for new head coach Ryan Sheridan to place him into his plans.
