Steelers boss Aaron Fox full of praise for Glasgow Clan coach ahead of Challenge Cup semi-final

Fox's Sheffield Steelers are red-hot favourites to finish the job against Fitzgerald's Glasgow Clan tonight, as they triumphed in the first leg of the Challenge Cup semi final 5-1 in Scotland.

The Sheffield boss has nothing but praise for the former Arena enforcer.

"I have got to know Fitzy a little bit during the course of the year and as a player I don't think there is any coach the guys would like to play for more than a guy like that" said Fox.

"In every interview he does, he gives credit to his players - to me he is a players' coach."

As for tonight's match, Fox said: "We are going to play that hockey game to win it.

"One loss can derail the train a little bit and we don't want any of that to creep into our game."

Sheffield will play an aggressive style like normal, as if it was 0-0 he said.

"If they take care of business this evening, they have a "one off chance to win a championship," he said.
