Smith and Brook spent time meeting members of the Steelers organisation, including injured club captain Robert Dowd, as well as several of the club’s players and guests.

The evening formed part of a major promotional event for BYD, with the company using the occasion to showcase the new BYD Shark.

The BYD presence was visible throughout the Arena, with cars on display and guests enjoying hospitality as part of the takeover event.

For Steelers supporters, it added another dimension to one of the club’s biggest home nights of the season, with Smith and Brook proving popular visitors throughout the evening.

Sheffield-born Brook, a former world welterweight champion, was a familiar face for many inside the Arena, while Smith, one of Britain’s best-known television, film and stage performers, also enjoyed the Steelers match-night experience.
