Sheffield Steelers' 17-year-old prospect Kieran Brown scored for Great Britain Under 18s last night.

But his side were beaten 4-3 by Estonia U18s after penalty shots in their final warm-up game ahead of the World Championship Division II Group A in Tallinn.

Lewis English, Brown and Richard Krogh were GB's goalscorers as they held last year's silver-medallists to a 3-3 tie after overtime.

GB U18s interim head coach and former Steeler, Tony Hand, said: "This was another impressive performance from the team.

"There were so many positives and these two games have shown we can compete at this tournament.

"We now have tomorrow's practise to fine-tune our preparations ahead of the opening game."

GB begin the tournament on Sunday when they face Estonia again, this time in competitive action, with an 8pm face-off (6pm UK time).

Meanwhile, Cardiff Devils have one foot in the Play Off semi-finals after winning last night.

Third period goals from Joey Martin and Matt Pope ensured league winners Cardiff would take the advantage back to Wales,
