Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay is following in the footsteps of Rotherham United counterpart Paul Warne and becoming a fan of ice hockey club Sheffield Steelers!
The Dutch manager, who joined the Owls in January, started to show an interest in the defending Play Off champions as soon as he’d got his feet under the table at Hillsborough.
He hails from the city of Venlo, which has its own hockey side.
Warne has been captivated by the speed of the game - and is a frequent Arena and iceSheffield guest.
He hails originally from Norwich - which isn’t exactly known as a hotbed for ice hockey...
But football men will be a little busy this coming Saturday -Wednesday host Fulham and Rotherham entertain Fleetwood.
But they’ll doubtless keep an eye on the fortunes of Steelers, who play host side Nottingham Panthers in the Play Off semi final.
