Have your say

It all came together for Tom Sestito and Sheffield Steelers tonight.

Ryan Finnerty’s team may have struggled to impress recently.

But they went to Brahead Clan tonight and ran the show, ending 7-2 winners.

And Sestito, Steelers’ NHL shut-out player, was in the form of his season.

Sestito put the visitors in charge (07:16), with goals following from Shaun Limpright (10:04), Rod Sarich (17:43), Sestito (27:43), Colin Shields (38:59), Jeff Legue (45:19) and Sestito for a deserved hat-trick (53:03)

Clan’s style clearly suited Sheffield.

And Philadlephia Flyer Sestito in particular.

But we should take nothing away from the work ethic and game-plan focus of all of Finnerty’s warriors.

Galbraith and Miller netted for the Scots, but the home side were decidely second best all night.

Sheffield should take the feelgood factor into tomorrow’s game at Edinburgh.
