Sheffield Steeldogs playmaker Stuart Brittle says he has been energised by the direction in which the club is going.
The 31-year-old skater has just played his eighth consecutive season in a Sheffield jersey at a senior level.
And he has re-signed with Andre Payette’s side for another term.
Brittle said “I am really pleased to be back, in my 30s, playing my ninth season at the club. I am excited about the chance to win something next year and feel rejuvenated through Andre’s new implementations, energy and ideas.
“I hope to have an injury-free year (he suffered with problems last season), and am looking forward to playing in all the big games like last year, especially getting to Coventry (Play-offs) again.”
