SHEFFIELD Steeldogs newly-signed Czech forward Lubmir Korhon makes his home debut tonight on a high after two man of the match awards at the weekend.

He got the award on his debut in the 2-1 defeat at Slough Jets on Saturday, Lloyd Gibson giving Steeldogs the lead early on.

Gibson also got the consolation the following day in the 5-1 defeat at Bracknell Bees which involved assists from Ed Bebris and Lubomir Korhon.

Tonight’s clash with Swindon Wildcats at iceSheffield (7.30pm) sees the visitors icing the league’s top points scorer Jonas Hogg (41 pts).

It is the third meeting this season, the other two going to overtime and Steeldogs picking up wins from close, physical encounters.
