Sheffield Steeldogs losing streak continues - but at least they put four past league leaders Basingstoke Bison.

The iceSheffield side dipped 4-6, but after losing their previous five matches, there were definite signs of recovery.

Second from bottom Dogs took the lead, ex Czech international Lubomir Korhon scoring at 3:11, assisted by Greg Wood.

The home side, went 3-1 down, before Edgars Bebris, in his first game back from illness, was finally rewarded for his hard work with a wrap around goal at 28:36 (assisted Andrew Hirst and Ben Morgan).

Bison extended their league to 5-2 before Derek Campbell gave the division leaders a fright.

He scored two in 33 seconds - both assisted by Korhon, with other assists going to Wood and Steve Duncombe - to bring the score to 4-5.

However, despite several attempts on net, Steeldogs were denied an equaliser as goalie Stevie Lyle and the Bison defence shut the door, though Bison added a further goal to their tally at 43:17 for a 4-6 finish.
