SHEFFIELD Steeldogs tuned up for the home leg of their EPL Cup Final on Tuesday with a 6-2 midweek romp over Telford Tigers.
Dogs take on favourites Guildford Flames at iceSheffield (7.45pm) hoping to bag a few goals before the second leg decider on March 28.
And they got plenty of net practice in the victory over Tigers. Coach Andre Payette said: “We played really well for the first two periods, with relentless pressure in the offensive zone.
“And we could have had a 10-0 score after the first two periods on our shot count and conceding just four shots on our net.”
