SHEFFIELD Steeldogs are on a high as they chase their fourth straight win this weekend.
Their 5-4 overtime win at big spending Guildford Flames last Sunday should stand them in good stead as they head for a league/cup game at Swindon Wildcats tomorrow.
The problem is that Swindon are another low budget team who have proved themselves against Flames, too.
Wildcats built a 4-0 lead against them last Saturday, before recording a 6-2 win.
Dogs coach Andre Payette said: “The league is so tight this season that no team can take a night off or let slip any chance of making the Cup semi-finals, as any team can pick up the two points if they work hard enough.
“I will be hoping to keep our three game winning streak going but Swindon are also doing well at present and we need to keep our defence tighter to stop them getting ahead like they did against us at home and Guildford last weekend.
“It will be another very tough road game for our Dogs on Saturday.”
Payette’s men won the September home contest against Wildcats 5-4 in overtime after a fight back from 3-0 down.
