DONCASTER’s Town Moor racecourse stages a double-header this weekend with racing on both Friday and Saturday.

Racing on Friday gets under way ay 6.40pm with The Yorkshire Radio Supporting Yorkshire Racing Maiden Stakes for two-year-olds.

Also featured are The freebets.co.uk Maiden Stakes (three-year-olds), The Bill Fouracres Handicap Stakes over the straight mile and a handicap contest for fillies and mares – one of three races supported by At The Races which broadcasts the racing from Doncaster via Channel 415 on the Sky network.

Saturday’s programme, which starts at 2.05pm, includes a trio of £20,000 contests supported by freebets.co.uk – a handicap for three-year-olds over the straight mile, a handicap over seven furlongs and a Conditions race for three-year-olds over the extended mile and a quarter.

Maiden two-year-old fillies have their opportunity in a race supported by The Crown Hotel Bawtry, while also featured are The Brenda Armstrong 75th Birthday Maiden Stakes (five furlongs) and The KAT Communications Knowledge About Telecoms Handicap Stakes over a mile and a half.

After racing on Saturday, there live music by ‘Contraband’ on the Captial FM Champagne Lawn.
