Friday night had a mix of emotions as in the early stages of the game it looked as if the Sharks were going to be the first SLB team to defeat the undefeated capital team. By the end of the first quarter the Sharks had taken a 16-point lead, but the second quarter saw a shift in the Lions play as by the end of the first half the game was tied 45-45. Sunday night was redemption night for the Sharks as they needed a way out of their 3 game losing streak. The Sharks made sure to keep it a close game so that they could try and take the win. The first quarter ended with the Sharks only trailing by 1-point and at the end of the first half they ended up down by two points with a score of 46-44.

The third quarter was where it began to look up for the sharks as with some amazing defensive and offensive play they took the lead. By the end of the third quarter the Sharks were ahead by 11-points. The 89ers would not go down without a fight though as they began to try and claw their way back but even with such fire, the Sharks took the win with 76-81 and broke their 3 game losing streak, to head home with a win.

The Hatters next play on the 7th November against the London Lions at the Canon Medical Arena with tip off at 7pm. While the Sharks also play at home on the 8th November against the Cheshire Phoenix with a 4pm tip off.
