City of Sheffield’s Jordan Houlden wins World Junior Championship with British Diving team
He was part of th British Diving team to win the team event at the World Junior Championship in Kazan.
And the all-English quartet scored of Houlden, Noah Williams, Katherine Torrance and Parkwood Alumnus scored 335.45 to top the podium.
Houlden, the former Parkwood Academy student, landed an inward 2 ½ somersaults with tuck (405C), from 1m, for 69.75.
The milestone also stamps Jordan and his team mates’ names in the history books as winners of the first ever staging of a mixed gender World Junior Championship event.
