Meadowhall staff allowed free coffee and sunglasses on Monday morning after late-night England Vs Mexico
The centre will mark the occasion by lighting its iconic dome red, white and blue on Sunday evening
Tired Meadowhall staff will have a “gentle start” on Monday morning following a late night watching England take on Mexico in the World Cup at 1am.
The centre has announced it will ease employee pain with a “quieter first hour” from 9am to 10am - with no music and no Tannoy announcements, while workers will be “encouraged” to keep voices down.

A rehydration station will be in place with complimentary coffees from Bean Coffee Roasters and sunglasses will be permitted.
The centre will also mark the occasion by lighting its iconic dome red, white and blue on Sunday evening to show support for the England squad ahead of the match.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We know a lot of our colleagues will be cheering England on into the early hours so we thought Monday morning deserved to feel a little easier.
“Whether it's grabbing a free coffee from Bean, enjoying a quieter start without the Tannoy or topping up at the rehydration station.
“We hope it gives everyone a chance to ease into the day after what we're all hoping is a memorable night.”
