Where to watch England v Argentina World Cup 2026 semi-final in Sheffield: venues, pubs and reservation details
England are now just one game away from reaching their first World Cup final since 1966 - only Argentina and Lionel Messi stand in their way
It’s a match that always produces fireworks, England and Argentina meet again in the latest instalment of an international rivalry which is all set to explode back into life after laying dormant for more than 20 years.
Over the years the fixture has produced everything including controversial red cards, the Hand of God, penalty heartbreak and a redemption story for David Beckham.
England have won three times, Argentina have won twice - but the two have never met at such a delicate phase of the competition before with a place in the World Cup final up for grabs for the winner.
It has the makings of a classic. Thomas Tuchel vs Lionel Scaloni, Harry Kane vs Lionel Messi, the challengers against the holders - and everything in between.
Huge crowds are set to be out on the town in Sheffield ahead of what promises to be an atmospheric evening of football.
With all that in mind, The Star, with the help of Skiddle, has rounded up some of the best places to watch the big match.
