Wheatley Hills beaten by Hull
WHEATLEY Hills lost 6-3 to Hull YPI in Yorkshire Men's League Division Division Three.
First pair Peter Hepworth and John Peters beat the Hull second pair 6-1,6-1 and their third pair 1-6, 6-4, 7-6, before narrowly losing to their first pair 6-3, 3-6, 8-10.
Second pairing Keith Huckerby and John Sculthorpe beat the Hull second pair 6-2,7-5 but lost to their third pair 3-6,5-7. They also lost in a third-set tie break against their 1st pair.
Third string Daniel Hill and Neil Morley lost their all three rubbers 6-3, 6-0; 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4,6-0.
