The meteoric rise of a Sheffield lad who turns into one of the world's best footballers, is the subject of an incredible new Nike advert ahead of the start of the European Championships this weekend.

The video entitled The Switch which went live today, shows Portugal and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo taking a bump to the head after landing in the crowd during a match for his country and ending up swapping places with ball-boy Charlie Lee, who it transpires is from Sheffield.

Filmed at various locations around the city, the promotional video shows young Charlie pick up Ronaldo's skills in playing five-a-side with his mates before making the step up to Sunday League and eventually playing for Manchester City and England.

All the while, Ronaldo struggles to regain his talent before the two finally come up against each other in a dramatic climax.
