The All Whites lost 2-1 to the South Americans at LP Field, Nashville in Tennessee.

For Graham, it was his first taste of senior international football and a real honour.

He said: “It was an amazing experience to walk out in front of 40,000 fans. To walk out with the other lads and sing the national anthem then get stuck into the game was terrific.

“It means a lot to represent my country and I couldn’t be prouder to walk out in the strip.”

Graham will remain with New Zealand this week for a second international friendly against USA at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, DC.
