Teeside’s Ross Joyce has been apointed referee for the League One clash with Walsall.

At Crewe, he showed the yellow card to Chris Herd, Ian Evatt, Sam Morsy and Liam O’Neil.

And in the 3-1 loss to Wigan, Joyce cautioned Herd and O’Neil once more.

His assistants will be Graeme Fyvie and Tom Nield, with Joe Hull the fourth official.

Saturday will see Joyce take charge of his 23rd game of the season.

He has dished out 75 yellow cards and three reds, and awarded just the one spot-kick.

Walsall have experienced his officiating before as well, after he refereed their FA Cup game against Fleetwood early in the season.
