Parkgate were beaten for the first time in nine league games after an injury time goal sent them to a 4-3 defeat at Arnold Town in the Baris NCEL last night.

Nathan Forbes-Swindells and Ashley Worsford, from the penalty spot, had cancelled out two Arnold Town leads and Matt Griffin looked to have salvaged a point with an equaliser six minutes from time but Town snatched all three-points deep into time added on.

AFC Emley won 1-0 at Askern Villa in the third round of the League Cup with Scott Holt hitting the winner on 70 minutes.
