Defender Richard Liburd earned his marching orders with a deliberate handball in the 74th minute to present Law with his second penalty of the match, which was dispatched in his typically powerful fashion.

In all, the current Alfreton Manager successfully drove eight spot kicks home for the Spireites, seven of them in the 1995-6 season, all gleefully celebrated on the terraces.

No-one gave a thought for the poor old football!
