Spireites poll: Did Chesterfield do '˜good business' on transfer deadline day?

Chesterfield brought in a trio of players yesterday to strengthen Danny Wilson's squad.

Local lad Connor Dimaio, Gary Liddle and Burnley defender Tom Anderson have all moved to the Spirites.

Midfielder Dimaio, 20, joins after 11 years with Sheffield United, while Liddle has been bought from Bradford City and will play in central midfield, but can fill in at centre-half.

Anderson , 22, has yet to make a first team appearance for Burnley, where he’s been since the age of seven.

Chesterfield chief executive Turner said: “I am very pleased with the business we have done before the transfer deadline.

“We have brought in three players who will strengthen the defensive and midfield areas of the squad.”

But what do YOU think? Was it good business?
