SPIREITES: Jake Orrell joins Matlock Town on loan from Chesterfield
Spireites striker Jake Orrell has joined Matlock Town on a month's youth loan.
The 18-year-old signed for Chesterfield in the summer after impressing on trial and has gone on to make two appearances for the club this season, away to Carlisle in the Capital One Cup and the JP Trophy tie at Rochdale.
Fellow Derbyshire side Matlock, of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier, have been on the hunt for reinforcements in attack and Orrell will remain at the Autoworld Arena until February 20.
He will be in contention for the visit of Hyde United tomorrow (Saturday) in what would be the Gladiators first game of 2016 along with fellow new recruits Andy Gascoigne and defender Tom Burgin.
