Simons hopes for momentum after two consecutive draws

“We played well and there were a lot of positives but we only got a point to show for it,” he said.

“We just have to have a positive approach, score goals and concede less.”
Town’s point on Tuesday wasn’t quite enough in the context of the relegation battle thanks to Oldham’s win.
But Simons reiterated the message boss Gary Caldwell has given the players about concentrating on what they do, rather than the league table after every game.

“Results elsewhere don’t matter if we don’t get ours.
“You never what can happen in football, stranger things have happened so we just go out there and do what we can to get results.”
