Sheffield's Ellie Roebuck up for PFA award after impressive season with Manchester City
Sheffield-born goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
The 20-year-old has grasped her opportunity at Manchester City with both hands since breaking into the first team two years ago.
She earned her first senior call-up to the Lionesses squad in the latter stages of 2018 and has continued to flourish for both club and country.

Hide AdHer Manchester City teammates Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Georgia Stanway have also been nominated, alongside Chelsea’s Erin Cuthbert and Manchester United’s Lauren James.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday next week.
