"It has been a bit difficult,” he added. “Somebody has to lose, but in training, every day we work hard. I see a lot of qualities and if we all stick together, we will turn things 100 per cent.

"Everybody is busy with changing and also staying all together. We are working on that every day and I see a lot of quality. The team is a really good team, but in a bad moment. In football, it can turn around quickly. We just need a win.”

With Birmingham in excellent form, a hugely difficult test awaits Da Criz and his team mates on Saturday, however the versatile forward is not expecting this one to be any dfferent to what he has already experienced so far in his short time playing in the Championship.

He said: "No, I don't think it is different from the other matches. We have prepared ourselves this week and have been busy and have to show it on the pitch on Saturday.”
