Pulis left Wednesday after just 45 days in charge, a spell during which he picked up just one win in 10 games – with Dejphon Chansiri saying ‘seven points from a possible 30 is not acceptable’.
Now, with Chansiri on the hunt for Pulis’ replacement, talkSPORT are reporting that the club are chasing the signature of José Morais after his decision to leave Korean club, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, recently.

Hide AdMorais, 55, served as assistant to Mourinho at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Chelsea (twice) during their time together, but has also had a managerial career of his own that has seen him coach all over the world.
He has managed in Portugal, Sweden, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine and the Republic of Korea - among others - over the last couple of decades, and is certainly well travelled – at his most recent job he averaged 2.04 points per game and left with the blessing of his former employers.
The Portuguese coach had a successful spell in Korea where he won three trophies in two years, but didn’t have the best of times on his one English assignment – getting relegated with Barnsley back in 2018 after winning just three of his 15 games in charge.
During his time with the Tykes, Morais favoured a 4-1-4-1 formation or a 4-4-2, but towards the end of his spell in Asia was using a 4-3-3 as his side won a league and cup double.

Morais would certainly be seen as a bit of a left-field choice from Chansiri, and The Star will be delving deeper into the situation over the coming days – however for the immediate future it will be Neil Thompson who takes charge of their game against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
