What Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Adam Reach said about the prospect of facing Premier League opposition in the FA Cup fourth round

That's according to third round match-winner Adam Reach, who’s 61st minute strike in the 1-0 win at Brighton put their name into the hat for the next round and secured their first FA Cup win over a top tier club since the semi-final win over Sheffield United in 1993.

And with names such as Liverpool and Manchester City in the hat alongside the likes of Northampton and Oxford, there are several ways Wednesday’s draw could go.

Speaking to The Star after their win at the Amex, a triumphant Reach said that the Owls will be ready to take on whoever is thrown their way.

“We just want to win games,” he said.

“If we draw lower league opposition at home, we will go into that trying to win.

“Of course, if we get a big Premier League side, it is good for the club and fans.”

Responding to the idea that a draw against a top Premier League club would be the ideal, Reach suggested a strong performance would further their top tier credentials.

He said: “We are just trying to breed a winning mentality.

“We will put a strong side and look to win the game and send a message that we want to be in the Premier League next year.”
