What Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson had to say on his blunder in their hard-earned FA Cup win over QPR

Dawson's careless clearance deep into added on time was seized on by R's striker Nakhi Wells, who calmly rounded the Wednesday goalkeeper before slotting home.
But despite Dawson's mistake, the Owls held on to seal a place in the fifth round of the world's oldest cup competition after goals either side of half-time from Morgan Fox and Sam Winnall.

Hide AdIt was the perfect tonic for Garry Monk's side after their 5-0 home mauling to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.
Dawson said: "It was fantastic. The boys were great from minute one.
"We really went back to basics in terms of earning the right and really making them work for everything they were going to get.
"The lads were great value for the win and the 10 boys out there deserved a clean sheet so I will take that on the chin."

Hide AdThings got a little nervy for Wednesday, who were roared on by 3,000 plus travelling fans, in the closing stages as QPR laid siege to the visitors goal.

Dawson admitted: "When they got the corner at the end, I was thinking 'please no.'
"I have sat in that stand with all them fans and it is typical Sheffield Wednesday isn't it? But the lads dug me out so excellent."
Other than his error for Wells' goal, Dawson's acquitted himself well in between the sticks. His handling was immaculate and he commanded his area with confidence and real authority.

Hide Ad"I was absolutely delighted for 93 minutes," he said. "Everything went to plan for the team and me individually.
"Everything was really clean and tidy which is what we have been working towards.
"But football has a way of humbling you slightly. I will take it on the chin and move on.
"The boys were excellent today and they deserve the credit.
"We have had a tough week and deservedly so. Absolutely rightly so.
"There has been a lot of talking but tonight was about actions and the lads really showed up tonight so massive credit to the boys."
