It was reported earlier this week that Owls players were getting ‘a maximum of £7,000-a-month on time’ with the rest ‘being sent through later to make up the totals’. The report also added that ‘the extra cash always turns up’.
Both Pulis and Iorfa were asked about the matter in their respective press conferences today, but neither went into any detail regarding whether it was an issue or not.

“Yes, these problems don't help but I am a football man. I am not concerned about anything else other than getting the team prepared and ready to win a game of football against Barnsley tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Iorfa explained that morale in the camp was good, saying, “To be fair, I’ve got nothing to say on that confidential matter. Obviously I’m just focused on the game ahead.
“We’re just focused on the game, and getting wins to turn this thing around.”
