A heavy focus remains on the search for a new Owls manager, but after the addition of winger Andre Green last week, the importance of adding firepower to a squad that has scored only 15 goals in their 23 Championship matches remains.
One name fleetingly linked with a loan switch to Hillsborough has been Leeds United’s Wales international Tyler Roberts, who has found playing time limited in the Premier League this season.

Hide AdRoberts, who is linked with a host of Championship clubs, came off the bench to play half an hour in their defeat to Brighton this weekend, the most he has played since the start of October.
But speaking earlier in the window, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa poured cold water on any notion of a Roberts exit in this window.
“Tyler has always been in my plans,” he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“I value him in the football point of view and also in the human aspect and he has an important role inside our team. It is true that he is having difficulties to manage to be able to have continuity but for me he is player who is full of resources and who is very important for us.
