In comes the fit again Chey Dunkley for Osaze Urhoghide in the Owls defence following his recovery from a groin injury, while Liam Shaw returns to the matchday squad and is named among the substitutes after being sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Our Wednesday correspondent Joe Crann says it is ‘absolutely no surprise’ to see Thompson opt for a largely unchanged side following the fine midweek win at AFC Bournemouth.

“Dunkley in for Urhoghide is also no real shock either, given his experience and the fact that Big O has played a lot of games all of a sudden,” he says.

But what do Wednesdayites think of today’s team?

Let’s take a look at what some fans have been saying on Twitter.

@clarkswfc Need a bit more physicality in the air which Dunkley gives us. Need to deal with the likes of Cooper and Smith from set-pieces so sensible. But agree he’s done well.

@JayWoodhead5 Should’ve started Rhodes instead of Paterson IMO.

@_ae19_ Good team that. I’d rather see Green/Rhodes over Kachunga but Kachunga does work hard so he's good for attacking press.

@Charlesw1Glynis What does Rhodes have to do to get a start? He needs more than 10 minutes on the pitch give him more minutes and he will get the goals.

@ashes2015 Would have liked to see Rhodes rewarded with a start and rested Paterson, but still decent (hopefully).

@OneSwfc I would have liked to have seen Rhodes start to give him the chance to build some momentum. But can’t argue with Paterson’s recent goals record.

@MikeNorton1980 Shouldn't concede many with that defence. I'm going for 1-0.

@Jamesy_boy Subs bench starting to look decent #swfc always a good sign!
