Wednesday have more than held their own against Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering City team as the two sides went into the interval goalless.

The visitors have had the best chance of the night when Nicolas Otamendi sent a header against the bar from a Riyad Mahrez free kick on the right.

But other than that, the Owls have more than contained City and produced sporadic moments of quality at the other end of the pitch.
