A packed out away end of more than 1,800 Wednesdayites enjoyed a second successive victory on the road on Tuesday night.
The Owls won 2-1 at Adams Park, with goals coming from Louie Barry and Jamal Lowe after they initially fell behind early on. The three points moved Wednesday into second place in the League One table.
It was a long journey, especially for a Tuesday evening, but Owls fans, who belted out ‘Wednesday are back’ and ‘three points away ole ole’ at full-time were rewarded for their efforts and went home happy.
