Watch Sheffield Wednesday fans belt out spine-tingling ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’ ahead of Portsmouth clash
There’s nothing quite like the first game of the season to get the blood pumping.
And Sheffield Wednesday supporters responded in kind as they always do as their side prepared to take on Portsmouth in their League One curtain-raiser at Hillsborough.
A raucous rendition of the Owls’ rallying cry ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’ was belted out just before kick-off to signal the start of the season at S6.
Though some way short of the sell-out we saw when the two sides met last time out, Hillsborough was rocking.
