Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal refused to be drawn into the argument over whether the Owls should have been awarded a penalty against Hull City on Saturday.
Kieran Lee was sent tumbling in the box after a challenge by Michael Dawson but referee Keith Stroud dismissed the appeals - one of many decisions that provoked home fans anger during the game.
However Carvalhal, perhaps learning a lesson from what has happened to fellow Portuguese Jose Mourinho recently, decided to stay out of the debate, saying "If you are asking, you probably saw something so it is not necessary to ask. I never talk about the referee."
