6. LB: Matt Penney
After a season on loan with FC St. Pauli, Penney does enough over the summer to work his way back into the Owls set-up and is given a chance to shine. (Photo by George Wood/Getty Images) Photo: George Wood
7. CM: Barry Bannan
He may be starting, but the Owls are looking to get him off the books, having transfer-listed him for the rather specific asking price of £4.3 million. (Photo by Nathan Stirk/Getty Images) Photo: Nathan Stirk
8. CM: Adam Reach
The versatile player is moved off the wing to partner Bannan in the middle. His passing, work rate and penchant for a vicious long shot should make him a decent fit. (Photo by Bryn Lennon/Getty Images) Photo: Bryn Lennon
