The Owls are likely to be short of a number of players against the Grecians as they lock horns in the FA Cup this weekend, and Taylor admits that he’s not really sure what team to prepare for as they make the visit to St. James Park.

Several youngsters are expected to make the trip to Exeter, and Taylor says his side need to be on the front foot if they’re going to get themselves a result.

Speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel ahead of the game, the Exeter manager said, "I have no idea what we're going to get from them on Saturday, but I need a clear indication of what I I’m going to get from my own players on Saturday, and that is an aggressive style of play, and front foot football - that’s our home style of football.

“I want to lead that game in terms of all the stats - running stats, efforts on goal, all the bits and pieces like possession. I want us to play on the front foot and play well.

“I’ve got no idea what to expect from Sheffield Wednesday, but there will still be good players, I can guarantee that!

“They’re a club of that stature and that history for a reason - but we’ll never have a better opportunity than this weekend.”
