Sheffield Wednesday are in the play-off places but the bookies don’t think the Owls are likely to earn promotion to the top flight this season.
Sky Bet have the odds of Jos Luhukay’s side winning the Championship outright at 100/1, with West Brom favourites at 2/1.
Wednesday’s chances of promotion are put at 33/1, with Wigan at 12/1 and Sheffield United at 6/4.
Adam Reach has already pretty much got the goal of the season award sewn up, but the odds in the race for the golden boot put his team mates Lucas Joao at 66/1, Fernando Forestieri at 100/1 and Atdhe Nuhiu 150/1.
The Owls are currently in sixth place on 19 points with 12 games done and the odds that they’ll still be inside the top six at the end of the 2018/19 season are 9/1.
South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham are only fancied as 200/1 chances to get to the play-offs, while Steel City rivals Sheffield United are at 2/5.
Luhukay’s side are yet to keep a clean sheet this season but the Dutchman says he doesn’t mind as long as they keep scoring them at the other end – the bookies have odds of 250/1 on the Owls ending the season as the top scoring side.
