There all seem to be, don’t they? The Owls have two senior players - Barry Bannan and Liam Palmer - nailed down to fresh deals at S6. There are five more to go.
Danny Röhl has made no secret of his desire to get increased quality through the door and Wednesday are working hard behind the scenes to line up their business ahead of the opening of the transfer window - and the conclusion of contracts at the end of this month.
From Arsenal youngsters to possible exits, Sweden-based midfielders and a former Celtic man, here’s the latest as we have it on every Wednesday story of the transfer window so far.

5. George Byers
Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the fan favourite midfielder is moving on and he has already been linked with a host of clubs, including Huddersfield Town, Rotherham United, Barnsley and abroad. Photo: Ben Roberts Photo/Getty Images

6. Cameron Humphreys
A Rotherham United centre-half, 25-year-old Humphreys is a product of the Manchester City youth system. Reports linked Wednesday with interest alongside a handful of other Championship sides, though Millers boss Steve Evans laughed them off this week and made clear no approaches have been made for the defender. | James Brailsford Photo: JAMES BRAILFSFORD

7. Yan Valery
Valery is a former Rohl charge - the pair worked together to good effect at Southampton - and this is one that looks likely to get done. The Tunisia international is an attack-minded right-back and The Star revealed last week that an agreement has been reached between all parties. It could be completed by the end of the week. | AFP via Getty Images

He's Wednesday. The Sheffield United defender will swap red for blue when his contract at Bramall Lane ends this month and he's all signed up at S6, as confirmed last week. Photo: Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images
