Sheffield Wednesday will have to make one enforced defensive change when they take on Garry Monk's former club Birmingham City at St Andrew's.

Osaze Urhoghide is set to serve a one-match suspension after his red card in Saturday's 3-0 thumping to Reading.

The 19-year-old, one of four changes made by Monk, was sent off for two bookable offences.

Urhoghide, who lined at right back in Monk's 4-4-2 formation, was harshly booked in the first half for a foul on Ovie Ejaria.

And the former AFC Wimbledon youngster collected his second yellow card of the afternoon four minutes into the second period after unceremoniously bringing down Ejaria near the Owls' penalty area.

On Urhoghide's dismissal, Monk said: "It is obviously a foul. In terms of how the game was going to be reffed, that was always going to happen.

"When the red card came that makes it even more difficult.

"I actually thought we started the game well enough, and had the territory, and the one time they did break away they got their goal.

"The first goal changed the game, and going down to 10 men made it even more difficult."

Wednesday are short of options in the full-back positions, with Morgan Fox (ankle) and Moses Odubajo (hamstring) currently sidelined by injury. If Fox and Odubajo fail to shrug off their knocks in time for the trip to Birmingham next Saturday, Monk may be left with little choice but to play Dominic Iorfa again on the right hand side of their defence.
