The big news comes in goal where Joe Wildsmith starts in place of Cameron Dawson, while Dominic Iorfa, Joey Pelupessy and Alessio Da Cruz all come in to replace Tom Lees, Kadeem Harris and Steven Fletcher respectively.

Wednesday go into the game on the back of a dismal 3-1 defeat to Derby County at S6 on Saturday, their eighth defeat in 13 games, and will come up against a City side fresh from their Carabao Cup triumph over Aston Villa at Wembley on Sunday.

@Jamesy_boy So unfair this on Wildsmith #swfc

@Jamesy_boy If we have a shot on target all game I’ll be amazed. #swfc

@stevenowls Man City must have watched us against Derby. Not taking any chances and putting a full strength side out #swfc

@HatScarfShirt Wildsmith’s proved himself capable in the past and must be aching for this chance. Wouldn’t be shocked if we lost, but I reckon he’ll keep it to one or two maybe

@dan_N_smith I’ll be amazed if we get more than 35% possession tonight. #swfc

@wednesday1962 Great opportunity for Wildsmith tonight, hope he grabs it.

@Jinja_Owl Bet Wildsmith is well happy at getting chucked in for this one!

@MLT92 Great game to bring Wildsmith back in to, lamb to the slaughter! #swfc
